English and Urdu Speech Competition on Quaid Day

A Speech Competition was held at APSIS on 3 December to honor Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The event aimed to highlight his vision, principles, and lifelong struggle while encouraging students to express themselves confidently. After the recitation of the Holy Quran and a welcome note, students from different classes presented speeches on topics such as Jinnah’s struggle for Pakistan, his leadership qualities, and the role of youth in fulfilling his vision. Participants spoke passionately, and teachers judged them on content, presentation, and confidence. The top three winners received certificates, and the Principal commended all students for their efforts. The event concluded with the national anthem and successfully promoted patriotism and a deeper understanding of Quaid-e-Azam’s legacy.

International day of persons with disabilities

An awareness session was held at the school on 3 December to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Conducted by the Emotional Health Counsellor, the session focused on inclusivity, empathy, and supporting individuals with disabilities. Students learned about various types of disabilities and the challenges people face in daily life. The counsellor stressed the importance of kindness, patience, and respectful communication, while students actively engaged by asking questions and sharing insights. The Principal thanked the counsellor and encouraged students to practice empathy and inclusion. The session concluded with a pledge to promote respect and support for an inclusive society. Overall, it was an informative and impactful program that enhanced students’ understanding of disability awareness.
